Bryan Swoboda

Bryan graduated from Boston University in 1990 with a degree in Mass Communications / Advertising. While enrolled as a full-time student, he made ends meet by working as a freelance documentary photographer, traveling around the world capturing images of the international gem and mineral trade. His travels took him to places like Brazil where he worked with National Geographic, Namibia, Russia, Pakistan, Turkey, Western Europe, Thailand and a two-year stint working in a Mexican mining camp.

Upon finally returning to America, Bryan returned to his advertising roots and joined Speer, Young and Hollander, a Los Angeles advertising agency, where he worked as an account manager on hi-tech clients such as Hughes, TDK, Altium - an IBM company, Lear Astronics and Silicon Systems just to name a few.

His blend of creativity and management skills eventually took him to Poppe Tyson, a Bozel company, where he managed the laptop computer account for Toshiba. After the successful launch of their Tecra series of laptop computers, Bryan left the agency to pursue his growing interest in the Internet and the marketing potentials offered there.

As Vice President of Interactive Media at Young Company, Bryan was responsible for creating and implementing integrated marketing/communication campaigns for clients such as ARAMARK Uniform Services, Velocium, Texas Instruments, International Rectifier, Philips Electronics, Warner Brothers, MGM, GemConnect.com, Candle and Samsung.

Bryan started Glaucus Productions in 2001 to allow him to focus his talent and experience in developing interactive marketing solutions for niche markets outside of hi-tech and business-to-business.

Anne Gale
anne_g@glaucus.com
Anne began her career in graphic design at age 5, a drawing of hers making the cover of a national teaching magazine. Since then, she has moved into the somewhat faster-paced world of ad agency freelance art direction, with names like Toyota, Lexus, Dreamworks, and Paramount gracing her client list.

Her artistic achievement in the world of print design was augmented by the technological developments in the field of interactive media. Anne now enjoys residence in both worlds, equally at home with a Flash animation or a Pantone swatchbook.

She and Bryan began their professional collaboration with Divebriefing, and have worked together extensively on interactive and print creative projects for Young Company.
